Andrew Yip

Research Fellow at ICinema Centre for Interactive Cinema Research

Andrew Yip is a researcher, designer and 3D artist working in experimental new media, with a background in art history, galleries and universities. He is currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the iCinema Centre for Interactive Cinema Research at the University of New South Wales, where he designs virtual and augmented reality art installations and research the application of these technologies for the cultural sector. For Im-Arch Asia 2019, his focus will be the creation full body immersive environments for cultural heritage research and also new paradigms for immersive, embodied design tools.
