Dr Weiquan Lu is an Assistant Professor in the department of Communications and New Media at NUS who works on the User Experience (UX) design and development of technologically-empowered learning environments. His education research interests include figuring out how bodily actions involving Physicality (such as manipulation with real world objects, gestures, and bodily posture changes) affect human learning and Data Physicalization. He also advises industry and the government in the fields of UX design and Virtual & Augmented Reality Information Systems development. He holds a B.Comp. from the School of Computing and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NUS.
